Hard to believe that for 20 years I've been immersed in the business of selling Chinese Antique Furniture online. Pioneers, being the first online only seller of this genre of furniture. Now that's something to tout eh?

Been a good run but time to retire the business. Been an absolute joy seeing my World Grow throughout the years. 

I've been selling furniture online since 2000. In 2004 I established my presence in High Point NC as an exhibitor at the bi annual High Point Furniture Market. All these years later I maintain a presence in High Point that has had me relocating geographically more than I care to admit. However, the continuity of the people I've grown as my community remains to be my constant.

My goal has always been to be as close to the heart of High Point but at a cost that "worked for me". This past year that became my reality.   Having an storefront window wasn't part of the "goal" but as it would be I struck gold and now I have such at 506 N Wrenn,....corner of  N Wrenn and  E Westwood to be exact...sharing space with Added Oomph!. ZAAR has been a regular participant at the To The Trade only show, in High Point NC since 2004, as many of you know. With the help of my designer angels my showroom always looks great. It is an inviting and colorful space, beautifully showcasing how the various collections I represent marry. Well, this past Market we had the icing on the cake, when New River Artisans came to show with us. Talk about adding a punch to our space. It was if the carpets they brought were designed specifically for this space...like it was "meant to be". As beautiful...

When representing product I am as drawn to the people, behind the product, as much  as I am to the product....not just the face of the company but the artists producing said product. Shining the light here on two companies, Frank Rogers Design and C and S Acosta, both which work as cottage industries, in Mexico and Thailand respectively.
